Dr. Ralf-Michael Wagner is Senior Vice President for Plant Data Services, part of the Digital Factory Division at Siemens AG. In this position he holds the global business responsibility for industrial cloud platform, industrial data analytics applications and industrial cyber security.
He studied in Mannheim, Stuttgart and Munich receiving degrees in Computer Science, Business Administration and Law as well as various executive education programs like ESMT in Berlin. He began his career in the internal IT department of Siemens. He continued working abroad followed by founding a VC funded internet startup. Back at Siemens he joint the in-house consulting group. Various leadership positions in the area of industrial software and automation equipment including sales, manufacturing and division strategy have been held by him.
